Fun Facts
Looking through the glass tells a story
We are proud to have some of the oldest American -made stained glass windows in the United States. They were manufactured in New York City.
We are listed in the National Register of Historic Places
The Church started as a small chapel in 1822 downtown. In 1825 it burnt down, and a new meeting house was constructed before Christmas ( kind of a big deal holiday so reconstruction happened fast).
This is our third building in Downtown Providence and our first Sanctuary. It was consecrated November 20th, 1872.
